[Latest 2021] Fix Custom Domain Not Working Without 'www' In Blogger

Have you recently buyed a domain name for your blogger blog and are facing a problem that "Domain not working without www ". Don't worry this is a very common problem and many bloggers including me have faced this problem in our times.

So, first we should understand why this error is coming :-

---

• It may be because you have not configure your domain properly on Blogger or on your Domain Registrar.
• You may not have added A-Records in your domain DNS Records.
• You may not have enabled 'Redirect From non-www version of your domain name to www version of your domain name' on Blogger.

So, now as we have seen the problems, now we should seek on how to resolve them :-

Solution-1)

Add four 'A' Records in your DNS Records of your domain on your Domain Registrar. [Here, I have buyed a domain from GoDaddy, so I will add 4 A-Records in the DNS Records of my domain on my GoDaddy account.]

You will have to enter '@' in the Host and enter 

216.239.32.21

216.239.34.21

216.239.36.21

216.239.38.21

these four IP Adresses in the 'Points To' of the four A-Records like shown in the picture.

Solution-2) 

Go to Forwarding Section in the DNS Management of your domain in GoDaddy account. Find it by scrolling down your DNS Management page. Now Click on Domain and select https:// in the 'Forward To' and enter your domain with www in the next block as shown in picture. Select Forward Type as Permanent (301) and Settings as 'Forward Only' and then click on Save.

Solution-3)

Go to your Blogger Account

For Legacy Version :-

Navigate to Settings > Basic and under Publishing click on edit button in front of your Blog Address and Check mark 'Redirect yourblogname.xyz to www.yourblogname.xyz' and click on Save.

For New Blogger Interface :- 

Navigate to Settings . Find 'Publishing' and then 'Enable' Redirect domain as shown in the picture.
